2008-03-27 Black Mountain groomed and ready : Jim Meyer Sr. says: Groomed the trails this a.m. You wouldn't believe how beautiful all the trails & hills are again.......for now, until Sunday afternoon when it warms up again probably (?). Anyway, I'll go re-scuff the skate lanes late tomorrow night for the weekend skiers.....me & some of the others for sure. I took some pictures, including on the way down & back to the far bottom end parking lot. The whole thing is nicely skatable now, I got it widened out & good tracks set today. Wish you guys could be here, but that's the way the mop flops. I'm heading for Petoskey, at Dad's overnight in half an hour, I didn't get to ski either today....grrrr. Anyway, here's what things look like out there today----( I had soup & coffee only afterwards....)
